                      Simple Present Tense

Simple present Tense used for habitual action,general statement of fact.this verb used is the used “infinite”.

The Pattern:

·         (+)Subject +is/am/are+object/complement

     Subject +verb (+ s/-es)+object

·         (-)Subject + is /am/are  + not + verb + object/complement

    Subject + do/does +not +verb+object

·         (?)Is/Am/Are + subject + Complement?

      Does/Do + Subject +verb+object/complement?

Caption time:

·         Every(day,week/month,years)

·         Always,usually,etc.

Example:

Positive Senteces :

·         The world is round.

·         Fruits contains vitamin and mineral

Negative sentences:

·         I do not like chocolate

·         You do not study hard

Sentences Questions:

·         Do you study hard?

·         Do they join the organization?

          Note:

1.       Use singular subject <verb1 + ( s or es )>.because,preceded by singular subject.

2.       Subject followed by adjective or noun ; is/am/are (Is used the subject singular :he,she it)

3.       If the subject I = am . You ,we They = Are

4.       And the noun is used = I,you,we,they

5.       Time used verb add s and es:Verb 1 end with the letter “o, x , ch , th, s and,s and then sh verb 1 + se.

Examples VERB 1:

Go          → Goes

Do          →Does

Watch   →watches

Pinch     →pinches

Punch   →punches

Study    →studies

Cry        →cries

·         The letter “y” which turned into a consonant preceded.

·         Verb “have” changed to “has”.
